Dr. Hooman built his side of the practice on the things that make kids dread a visit, then took them away: headphones if the drill bothers them, a TV with their favorite shows, an explanation of what's about to happen. He'd rather spend 20 more minutes now than have a nine-year-old who's afraid of dentists for the next 30 years.
